Tim Hortons logo 2No, you’re not hallucinating. The Riese Organization that operates several different franchises in Manhattan including KFC and Lindy’s rebranded thirteen Dunkin’ Donuts this past Monday.

After concluding that it was not as profitable to operate Dunkin’ Donuts due to the increased advertising costs they decided to “show ’em who’s boss”  and converted all thirteen to Tim Horton’s. The Canadian icon is more than welcome if only because they actually call their donut holes Timbits.

Can wait to sink my teeth into some Timbits. They are especially good warm. Mmmmm…. Fire in the hole!
